Throughout most of my childhood and early adulthood I experienced a daily battle with acne. Unfortunately I wouldn't treat my skin with love and attention, but instead would hyper focus on my imperfections and fight against them (and myself) by squeezing and popping blemishes while also using a variety of products to hide years of hyperpigmentation and scarring. 

For years I avoided clothing which revealed particular areas of my body and did not leave the house without full coverage makeup. It was through these experiences I came to realize that there is a solution to every problem and the world of beauty is no exception.

After achieving a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in International Development, Master in Public Health (MPH) and Physician Assistant Bachelor of Science (BScPA), I knew I was meant to assist a variety of communities in solving problems from  Global Health and Primary Care settings to the world of Medical Aesthetics.

My passion for health, specifically mental health has afforded me the privilege of offering support and care in a multitude of settings, however Medical Aesthetics has resonated with me on a personal level. True beauty is much deeper than skin, however small changes to our appearance can be the catalyst for us to allow this inner beauty to shine. 

In January 2020 I proudly established Deeper than Skin, through which I offer personalized skin care services with an expertise in Microneedling & Laser Skin/Hair treatments. I am beyond excited to assist you in discovering how we can align your inner beauty with that which you see in the mirror. Your journey will be nothing short of unique and possibly life changing.
